Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrates written, interpersonal, and communication skills as appropriate to position
One of the following:
- Completion of On-the-job training through IH Surgical Aide Trainee process
- Minimum of 1 of the most recent 2 years’ experience working as a Surgical Aide/Surgical Assistant
Working knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment and procedures
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- BLS
Responsibilities
Supports the surgical team by holding retractors and assisting with various tasks to ensure efficiency and patient safety in the operating room.
