We are seeking a Network Engineer who will be designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. This includes designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.

\n- Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks of an organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. This includes designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
- Designing, planning, and implementing LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure.
- Configuring and installing Cisco network switches
- Implementing network security measures
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Monitoring network performance and identifying potential issues.
- Troubleshooting network problems, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions.
- Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download IOS updates
- Documenting network configurations and procedures.
- BA in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Five years of experience in network administration
- Five years of experience configuring Cisco switches
- Have a Cisco CCO account to create Cisco TAC cases and download
- Active DoD Top Secret (willing to obtain SCI)
