Overview of the job
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support and guide our HR and talent acquisition initiatives in North America. As the key HR contact for our North America team, this role will be pivotal in fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce while driving people strategies that align with Influencer’s business objectives. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop HR initiatives, manage day-to-day HR operations, and partner with the UK-based People Team.
This role requires a unique blend of strategic and operational expertise, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing high-level people strategies with administrative tasks. You will be the go-to person for HR-related queries and talent acquisition in North America, ensuring that our US team is supported and developed to meet the agency’s goals.

Measures of success
In the first few months, you would have :
Fostered strong relationships with our North America team and have regular check ins with the leadership team
Taken ownership all of our NA HR policies, benefits (including healthcare and 401K) and payroll, and understand the wider People Team systems and platforms, able to give confident advice to our employees
Collaborated with the Marketing Team and DEIB group to drive initiatives and events that drive our culture and employee engagement
Roles & Responsibilities :
Strategy HR Partnership;
Partner closely with the NA leadership team to understand business goals and help develop and implement HR strategies that support company growth and employee engagement
Collaborate with the global People Team to ensure alignment of HR initiatives, culture, and values across regions
Provide guidance on organizational development, change management, employee relations, and workforce planning
Champion a positive and inclusive company culture by driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement in North America
HR Operations and Administration;
Oversee and manage the day-to-day HR administration, including employee records, benefits administration (healthcare and 401k), payroll coordination, and compliance
Act as the point of contact for any employee-related issues and provide timely support to resolve HR challenges
Manage employee lifecycle processes, including pay reviews, promotions, terminations, and offboarding
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations and support the global HR team on any audits or reporting requirements
Talent Acquisition;
Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Director, sourcing and screening candidates
Managing various schedules for interviewing candidates, across various time zones
Accurate use of the ATS for robust data, as well as LinkedIn and additional advertising platforms
Pipeline management of quality candidates for upcoming hires
Training, coaching and support for hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion is at the forefront in our recruitment practice
A strong focus on candidate experience throughout the interview process to maintain a strong brand reputation
What you will need :
Proven experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR role, ideally within a global business
Strong understanding of HR best practices and talent acquisition processes, particularly in the US market
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements in North America
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience managing an ATS and recruitment tracker ensuring data is accurately maintained in a timely manner
The ability to identify, own proactive outreach and screening of candidates
SHRM certification is desired but is not a requirement for the role
