Description
Required:
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- IT work experience in business intelligence tools and systems (3 years);
- Experience analyzing BI features, including data modeling, DAX calculations, visualizations, and report design to solve reports and data needs of the business;
- Experience analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends, and interpret data to extract actionable insights;
- Strong experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) querying skills to access and manipulate data from various databases;
Preferred:
- Experience with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI – PL 300, Oracle BI, Certified Business Intelligence Professional);
- Experience executing DAX queries on the Power BI desktop
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and manage BI tools, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the BI system;
- Transform transactional and historical data into actionable insights via interactive dashboards and reports;
- Design scalable solutions to meet evolving business needs within the IT landscape;
- Collaborate with users to translate data requirements into technical specifications and prioritize reporting needs;
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Power BI models, creating metrics and KPIs using DAX;
- Build visually appealing, user-friendly dashboards and reports with clear data presentation;
- Ensure data accuracy, optimize report performance, and provide training to end-users on navigating and interpreting reports.
