Data Architect (onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and gather requirements.
• Design and implement comprehensive data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and related services.
• Manage and optimize Dedicated SQL Pools in Azure Synapse for high-volume data workloads.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases with high performance, availability, and security standards.
• Develop and manage ETL processes using Synapse Pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
• Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Build and maintain scalable and optimized data models.
• Oversee data security measures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Research and recommend software solutions aligned with current and future technology trends.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation and procedures manuals.

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Dedicated SQL Pools, and Azure SQL Database.
• 5 years of expertise in DDL, DML, T-SQL, advanced stored procedures, and database management.
• 4 years of experience in data architecture design principles and methodologies.
• 3 years of experience with data governance and compliance standards.
• 3 years of experience integrating data from diverse sources and managing data pipelines.
• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud computing, including storage and compute capabilities.
• 1 years of experience with programming languages like Python or Scala.
• 1 years of experience in Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft.
