Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and gather requirements.
- Design and implement comprehensive data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and related services.
- Manage and optimize Dedicated SQL Pools in Azure Synapse for high-volume data workloads.
- Design, implement, and maintain databases with high performance, availability, and security standards.
- Develop and manage ETL processes using Synapse Pipelines to ensure efficient data flow.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
- Build and maintain scalable and optimized data models.
- Oversee data security measures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Research and recommend software solutions aligned with current and future technology trends.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation and procedures manuals.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Azure Synapse Analytics, Dedicated SQL Pools, and Azure SQL Database.
- 5 years of expertise in DDL, DML, T-SQL, advanced stored procedures, and database management.
- 4 years of experience in data architecture design principles and methodologies.
- 3 years of experience with data governance and compliance standards.
- 3 years of experience integrating data from diverse sources and managing data pipelines.
- 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud computing, including storage and compute capabilities.
- 1 years of experience with programming languages like Python or Scala.
- 1 years of experience in Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft.
