Contract Duration: 3 Months Contract (with Possibility of Extension)
Shift Requirements: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM (8/hr a day 5 days a week 40/hr a week with alternate weekend)
Duties:
1.5 years experience accepted if tertiary experience; 2 years experience if not
Sterile processing certification (CRCST or CSPD– must not expire during term of assignment
Experience & Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Summary
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the cleanliness and proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment. Reporting to the Surgical Services Manager, you will utilize your core skills in sterile processing, aseptic technique, and medical terminology to maintain high standards of patient safety. Your premium skills in inventory management will support efficient operations in the sterile processing department. Responsibilities
- Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and medical equipment following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory of sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures.

- Document sterilization processes and outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments for surgeries and procedures.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in sterile processing techniques.
