Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern (3x/week Onsite)

Info-Matrix is seeking a motivated and curious Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist in transforming complex data into actionable insights. This internship offers hands-on experience with real-world data challenges and the opportunity to develop practical skills while contributing to meaningful projects. The responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, solution design and development.

Duration & Schedule

• 3-month internship with possibility of extension

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources
• Support the development and implementation of machine learning and AI models
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Help design and implement LLM-based solutions for business problems
• Contribute to fine-tuning and prompt engineering for LLM applications
• Participate in exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
• Document methodologies, findings, and technical processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and requirements
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects
  
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with data analysis tools and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Interest in artificial intelligence and natural language processing
• Exposure to machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Understanding of basic statistical concepts
• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  
  
  

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• Experience with AI frameworks and LLMs (OpenAI API, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Previous coursework or projects in machine learning or data analysis
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or matplotlib)
• Basic SQL knowledge
