Info-Matrix Corporation is looking to hire a full-time SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team!
The SQL Server Database Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical MS SQL Server systems, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and recoverability of data for a wide variety of in-house developed applications and off-the-shelf software. The position requires solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and requires assumption of rotating on-call duties. The successful candidate will be able to take direction well, yet contribute their own insights when required, working both independently and collaboratively with other teams.
RESPONSIBILITLIES:

RESPONSIBILITLIES:
- Manage SQL Server implementations across all environments from development, through testing to production.
- Maintain database servers and processes to ensure high levels of integrity, reliability and recoverability while keeping performance and security in line with industry standards.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Assist in providing 24x7 support for critical production systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance which includes after-hours deployment of CUs and Hotfixes.
- Participation in an on-call rotation
- 2 years’ IT experience with analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration.
- 4 years' experience with:
- MS SQL Server Administration
- Extensive experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
- Proficiency with writing T-SQL code.
- Experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR).
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) & SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- MS Dynamics CRM MS SQL server administration.
- SharePoint MS SQL server administration.
- TFS MSSQL server administration.
- BIS for Visual Studio.
- Windows Server administration.
- VMWare vSphere.
- SQL Server Database.
