Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accountant I to join the Financial Payments Section at the Florida Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. This role involves auditing and processing invoices, preparing documents for the Client Service System, and conducting job-related data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit and process invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.
• Assemble documents and data for various types of job-related analysis.
• Prepare documents to be input into the Client Service System.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Professional business experience in a similar environment.
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
