Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CyberSecurity Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our organization's information systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity practices, incident response, and network management. As a CyberSecurity Lead, you will oversee security protocols, manage incidents, and lead initiatives to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze security events using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
- Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery from security incidents.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using tools such as Nmap to identify potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Manage DHCP configurations to maintain secure network operations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of technology management.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for cybersecurity awareness.
- Document security incidents and responses for future reference and compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on incident response and recovery.
- Strong knowledge of computer management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP and experience with Citrix environments.
- Experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001 is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using SIEM tools for monitoring security events.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus but not mandatory.
