- The Client is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Engineer with a strong background in Java and Python and a minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, analytics workflows, and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to create scalable data solutions.
- Utilize Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms to develop and maintain data architecture.
- Implement data security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data availability and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows to enhance data processing efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
- Optimize query performance and data storage solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms.
- Expertise in SQL and database management.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or Kafka is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
