Position Title: Lead Business Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA
Interview Process: Only In-person
Position Type: Contract
Client:- State of Virginia
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- 7 years of Business Analyst experience, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, managing product/sprint backlogs.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Expertise in process modeling, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with enterprise-level systems and multi-module applications.
- Proficient in Jira, Azure DevOps, or other requirements management tools.
- Experience with statistical tools and data analysis is a plus.
- CBAP, CSPO, PMP, or similar certifications preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
