Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business problems, document business processes, and manage data lifecycle.
Develop data requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Conduct testing and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects efficiently.
Contribute to ongoing process improvements and organizational efficiency.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to understand business processes and data flows.
Develop expertise in customer datasets and data lifecycle management.
Profile source data and compare content and structure against dataset requirements.
Identify data conflicts and recommend resolutions.
Conduct entity resolution to manage matching, merging, and semantic conflicts.
Perform data attribute mapping back to the data source.
Document and manage metadata.
Create process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams to illustrate current and proposed processes.
Develop and document requirements and user stories for business and technical improvements.
Decompose requirements into Epics and Features and create clear, concise user stories for technical implementation.
Map user stories to data models and architectures to facilitate master data management.
Identify and group related user stories into themes and document dependencies.
Assist Product Owners in maintaining product backlogs.
Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups for stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and contractors to develop and test solutions.
Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams and keep project managers informed of progress.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts.
At least 5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with strong Scrum methodology knowledge.
5 years of experience writing complex queries to analyze data.
Proven experience translating client and product strategy requirements into dataset requirements and user stories.
Proficiency in defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance processes.
Hands-on experience with enterprise data management.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred:
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification.
Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) and work item tracking.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Test Complete.
