QA Tester

Position: QA Tester/Analyst
Location: 600 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308 (Hybrid)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated QA Tester/Analyst in testing custom applications, GIS components, and ensuring software quality. The role involves creating and executing test plans, test cases, and reporting issues, with a focus on business end users. This position requires working within an Agile environment and collaborating with multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create, document, and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing for custom applications and GIS components.
• Work closely with business partners, PMO, and vendor teams to understand requirements.
• Report testing results and escalate any issues or bottlenecks to management.
• Support the creation of UAT test scenarios and documentation.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and status reporting.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of software testing experience.
• Experience in large or mid-scale system development projects, including test automation.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, ServiceNow, and TFS.
• Experience in system, performance, regression, and security testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Preferred experience in public sector projects.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to review and analyze system requirements and documentation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications (preferred): CSTE, CAST, ISTQB, or similar.
