Position Title: SOC Analyst 2
Location: Des Moines, IA
Interview Process: Either Web Cam or In Person Interview
Position Type: Contract
Client:- State of Iowa
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with security certifications (SSCP, Security , CSA , or similar)
- Expertise in security technologies (firewalls, IDS, antivirus, vulnerability assessment, etc.)
- Knowledge of attack vectors, penetration methods, and countermeasures
- Strong conflict resolution, incident escalation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- High integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to diversity and independent work
- Team player with experience working in multidisciplinary environments
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- SOC Analyst: 7 years (Required)
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP): 1 year (Required)
- CompTIA Security (Security CE): 1 year (Required)
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA ): 1 year (Required)
