Responsibilities:
- Answering the main hospital phone
- Transferring calls
- Monitoring the fire panel systems and using the radio to contact Security if a trouble alarm alerts
- Calling and relaying information to 911 if a code is called
- Using the PA system for hospital codes if requested
- Assisting with fleet key check out
- Assisting with staff meal ticket purchases
- Other clerical tasks as assigned
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- hospital switchboard operator or clinic unit clerk: 1 year (Required)
- in a role utilizing HIPAA compliance.: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to react calmly and quickly in emergency: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Shift availability:
- Night Shift (Required)
