Job Summary:
The IT Purchasing Analyst is responsible for handling day-to-day procurement functions, including selecting appropriate procurement methods, processing electronic procurement requests, reconciling vendor inquiries, and participating in vendor meetings. This role works closely with end users to ensure accurate specifications and competitive sourcing while procuring IT goods and services in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and apply appropriate procurement methods.
- Process and maintain electronic procurement requests.
- Reconcile vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Participate in vendor meetings and maintain vendor relationships.
- Evaluate purchase requests and work with end users to obtain accurate specifications.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
