Machine Operator/Extrusion

• Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Onsite)
• Duration : Long-term contract
• Location : Indianapolis, IN
• Interview : In person only

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and assigned repairs.
• Identify and report major vehicle issues.
• Maintain work orders, order parts, and manage stock.
• Keep work area clean and assist with supply handling.
• Stay updated with training on new procedures.

Duties:

• Repair and maintain vehicle electrical components (lights, radios, wiring, etc.).
• Use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
• Test drive vehicles for functionality.
• Maintain logs and perform building custodian duties if required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy automotive objects and work in confined spaces.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and automotive manuals.

Work Environment:

• Garage setting with exposure to hazardous materials.
• Requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.53 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
