Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mainframe Analyst / AS400 Developer to join our team. This role involves contributing to financial services projects, specifically focusing on banking operations like futures and derivatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and experience in financial firms to deliver high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on financial services projects involving banking operations, with a focus on futures and derivatives.
• Develop and maintain applications on Mainframe or AS400 platforms.
• Work with GMI tools and systems to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth application performance.
• Apply knowledge and experience gained from financial firms like Morgan Stanley or JPMorgan Chase to drive successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Mainframe Analyst or AS400 Developer.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, especially in futures and derivatives.
• Hands-on experience with GMI tools is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of working on financial services projects in a professional setting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with leading financial firms like Morgan Stanley or JPMorgan Chase.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.11 - $55.12 per hour

Experience:

• AS400: 2 years (Required)
• Mainframe development: 2 years (Required)
• Analysis skills: 2 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Salt Lake City, UT 84110: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
