Job Title: Mainframe Administrator
Location: Wilmington, DE (On-site)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mainframe Administrator to manage and optimize our IBM mainframe environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, and disaster recovery while ensuring high availability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain IBM z/OS, JES2/JES3, CICS, DB2, and RACF.

Monitor system performance and apply tuning techniques to optimize mainframe operations.

Manage storage, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.

Ensure security compliance and manage user access controls.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Automate processes using JCL, REXX, and scripting tools.

Collaborate with application and network teams to enhance system reliability.

Maintain technical documentation and provide 24/7 support as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Proven experience in mainframe administration with expertise in IBM z/OS.

Strong knowledge of RACF, DFSMS, VSAM, TCP/IP, and system utilities.

Experience with performance tuning, automation, and disaster recovery.

Proficiency in JCL, REXX, SMP/E, and storage management tools.

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
IBM Certified System Administrator z/OS.

Knowledge of cloud integration, DevOps practices, and automation tools.

Experience with middleware technologies (MQ, WebSphere, IMS).
