The team developing industry leading CT scanners is looking for a highly motivated IB senior embedded software engineer to join them for IB support for efficiency in the development of the next generation of CT scanners. The IB Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be working independently to migrate from legacy source control to new systems, application code porting to newer platforms, code testing, and perform build pipeline maintenance to support new CT developments.

Job Description:

Experience in Medical systems particularly in CT (Computed Tomography)

Identify legacy items still dependent on code residing in clearcase

Migrate all remaining clearcase code to Gitlab environment and integrate artifact delivery to latest process

Migrate CT applications to latest VxWorks 7 platform and test with seamless integration and delivery into existing products

Collaborate with cross-functional teams after identifying dependencies to perform effective migrations managing all dependencies

Take ownership of tasks and deliver, submitting merge requests while helping team members through programming and code reviews

Perform impact assessment, document verification plans, and organize/execute formal code verification for releases

Tools/Technologies C, C , Python Programming, Linux, VxWorks, Clearcase, Gitlab, Sonar Strong analytical, DevOps, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ALM/JAMA, My Workshop GNU Make and CMake experience

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or in related STEM

Major 10 years of C/C experience in embedded software development

Experience successfully migrating code bases from clearcase to Gitlab environment and testing for effective migration

Experience with build pipelines, build infrastructure, and formal verification test execution and planning
