Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
Work with Account Management, Client Marketers, Channel, and Analytics teams to ensure sites, apps, and landing pages have correct tagging deployed and that tracking architecture will result in the correct level of detail for post campaign analysis
Maintain, implement, and evolve site tagging, including custom variables, for advanced reporting, optimization, and personalization (such as, Floodlights, Meta, Pinterest, GA4, etc.)
Implement, maintain, and evolve SDK's and event tracking for advanced reporting, optimization, and personalization across websites and apps using a tag management system (i.e., Tealium)
Thoroughly test and validate the accuracy of tag deployment using debugging tools (e.g., Developer Tools, Omnibug, BrowserStack, Observe Point) to ensure proper firing and data capture
Diagnose and resolve issues related to tracking gaps and reporting discrepancies across digital platforms, and work with Channel teams, Client teams, media vendors, and ad tech platforms to troubleshoot media tracking when necessary
Execute quality assurance (QA) across client websites/ Mobile Apps pre and post campaign launches and/or website/app changes to ensure flawless digital execution and to confirm compliance with regulatory needs
Document tagging implementations in detail and update/maintain as needed
Detail-oriented and organized with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to train others (technical and non-technical) on materials related to your role.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 6 years marketing experience
5 years of hands-on experience in Ad Operations
Must have experience implementing client-side, server-side, and Mobile Apps within tag management systems (Tealium, Google Tag Manager, and other tag management platforms) to execute and troubleshoot tagging across marketing sites at an agency or brand
Experienced with implementing, troubleshooting, and validating API Connectors and/or Webhooks via Event Stream (Tealium's server-side solution)
Excellent understanding of JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation, strong tag management skills, solid debugging and troubleshooting skills, strong understanding of marketing technology (Martech) landscape, experience leveraging APIs for S2S tagging
Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence for technical documentation
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Desired Characteristics:
Solid knowledge in Ad Operations media landscape, specifically around site tagging framework and API integrations
Familiarity with privacy-first tracking solutions and consent management platforms (One Trust)
Organized with the ability to juggle competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks
Able to communicate and train on technical topics to internal stakeholders and/or clients
Experience working in an Agile project management framework
Hands on experience with project management software, like MS Project and At Task/Workfront is a plus
Experience with Postman or other API based tools/platforms is a plus
Experience with BrowserStack or other VPN tools/platforms is a plus
