We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead our Federal DoD/Civilian sales team reporting to the Vice President of Sales for Public Sector, you will play a critical role in growing revenues, leading a high-performing sales team, and driving strategic alignment across the Federal DoD/IC market. Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed revenue targets through strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Federal DoD/Civilian sales organization.
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
- Ensure business objectives and financial targets are consistently met across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Drive aggressive revenue growth within the existing customer base while expanding new opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, techniques, and tactics informed by market analysis and customer feedback to exceed corporate goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create impactful, market-specific materials and strengthen Infoblox’s presence at key events and trade shows.
- Align cross-functional teams—including inside sales, marketing, and channel partners—to create a cohesive and effective go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline management, ensuring a 3x pipeline against quotas, and utilize reporting tools to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor top talent to build a resilient and high-performing team, fostering a culture of urgency, accountability, and excellence.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active TS (TS/SCI preferred) clearance desired.
- 10 years of experience developing and leading successful sales teams and channel partnerships within IT security or related organizations.
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, close high-value deals, and grow market share in the Federal DoD/IC community.
- Strong track record hiring, developing, and retaining top-performing sales professionals.
- Hands-on experience building and executing comprehensive sales plans that drive measurable outcomes.
- Expertise in aligning sales strategies with operational and marketing initiatives to optimize performance.
- Strategic vision paired with a detail-oriented approach to execution and operational cadence.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
What Success Looks Like:
- After 6 months:
- Deep understanding of Infoblox’s business strategy, strengths, and opportunities within the Federal DoD/IC market.
- Effective coaching and mentoring of the sales team to align with corporate goals and revenue targets.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and refine sales strategies tailored to the Federal DoD/IC landscape.
- After 1 year:
- A 3x pipeline against quota, driven by effective team management and strategic market engagement.
- Successful execution of a creative, innovative sales strategy, delivering measurable growth across key accounts.
- An established and cohesive sales team that consistently exceeds targets and delivers on business objectives.
