Purpose of the Position : This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing reporting and analytic solutions using BI tool, with Databricks serving as the foundational data warehousing platform. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into actionable insights that facilitate data-driven decision-making. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that data is effectively modelled, easily accessible, and presented in a way that aligns with our clients' business needs.
Key Result Areas and Activities :
- Design and Development : Design, develop, and implement advanced BI solutions, including interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards. Utilize your expertise in BI to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that effectively communicate data insights.
- Data Modelling and Integration : Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand data sources, perform data modelling, and ensure the availability of clean and accurate data for analysis. Integrate data from various sources into BI tool, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize BI solutions for performance by fine-tuning data models, queries, and visuals. Implement performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval and rendering within BI tool.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into effective data visualizations. Conduct regular meetings and presentations to demonstrate the capabilities and value of BI solutions.
