Job Title: Software Developer
Job Duration: 40 Hours / Week, Permanent position, Full time
Job Duties:
- Analyze requirements by engaging with primary stakeholders to determine specific feature expectations, and resolution of the ambiguity in requirements.
- Analyze, Evaluate, identify, and design the architecture of software system per user need.
- Identify project expectations, objectives, and goals by interacting with stakeholders understanding the business needs.
- Provide estimates for project work based on effort and historical data.
- Define, categorize, and prioritize requirements ensuring appropriate outcomes for the solution or initiative.
- Understand technical issues and their implications for the business and being able to communicate them with other stakeholders within the business.
- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
- Define all aspects of development including technology, workflow, and coding standards.
- Writing unit test cases and modifying existing tests for code coverage.
- Develop simulators to mock third party applications during the development phase.
- Maintain software versioning using the code repository tools.
- Contribute and enhance code to support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery.
- Track and monitor the project life cycle.
- Perform ongoing software maintenance operations.
- Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.
- Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
- Evaluation of critical code fixes to determine ship readiness and help make sure that each release goes out on time with high quality.
- Support the production deployment and working on warranty support.
Job Requirements: Required Bachelor s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field 2 years of experience in the job offered, Software Engineer, Software Architect, Systems Engineer or related. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the US.
