Role Overview
We are searching for a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) that is interested and committed to longer term freelance consulting work to join our team.
You will be responsible for both developing new business opportunities and delivering top-tier cybersecurity leadership services to our clients. This role requires an experienced cybersecurity expert who can provide strategic guidance, develop comprehensive security policies, and lead a variety of projects designed to help improve overall security program maturity.
You will cultivate relationships with potential clients, prepare proposals, and execute business development strategies to secure new engagements.
In addition to business development, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients that you onboard. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complex cybersecurity landscape, mitigate risks, and maintain a strong security posture.
This is a fully independent contractor role. You can set your hourly pay rate and receive commissions on projects and solutions you help sell. This offers a great opportunity to expand your footprint with existing clients and build and develop new client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development :
Identify and develop new client relationships by bringing deep cybersecurity expertise to help solve their most pressing cybersecurity challenges
Provide strategic cybersecurity guidance and leadership to clients, aligning security initiatives with their business objectives and risk preferences
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction
Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity.
