Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team in Bristol, Connecticut. The successful candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to OB patients 35 weeks and above
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Assist with births and postpartum care
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- 12 hours of night shifts per week, rotating weekends
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
