Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM3 x 12 shifts Every Other Weekend Required as Needed Holidays Required as Need Description : Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Schedule Notes : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM3 x 12 shifts Every Other Weekend Required as Needed Holidays Required as NeededOn-Call Requirement : after 90 days Float Requirement : as needed Skills : Required Skills & Experience : -Minimum qualifications required for services : -Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
