Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to prepare and perform CT and radiologic procedures in our medical facility. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for CT and radiologic procedures
- Operate CT scanners, computers, telephones, and printers
- Provide patient care during procedures
Physical Demands:
- Standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting, pushing/pulling maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 25 pounds (essential)
- Reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object (continuous)
- Stooping/bending, lifting weight up to maximum weight of 50 pounds, carrying usual weight of 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods (frequent)
- Kneeling, squatting, twisting body (occasional)
Working Conditions:
- Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions
- Exposed to communicable diseases
- Work environment may be stressful due to patient volume
Requirements:
- Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist, or eligible to obtain before date of hire
- Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff
- Current BLS/HCP certification
- Two (2) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility; OR One (1) year experience in Radiologic Special Procedures
- CT experience required
