Job Title: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Location: Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville Medical Center Expansion, Pflugerville, TX 78660
Summary:
The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist will assist Physicians with cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. This role involves preparing patients for procedures, monitoring their condition, and providing routine and emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Physicians during catheterization / electrophysiology lab procedures
- Prepare room and equipment for procedures
- Instruct patients on procedure preparation and aftercare
- Monitor patient's condition and provide routine and emergency patient care
- Contribute to the orientation and training of other team members
- Participate in daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience or completion of US military training program
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R Radiography, Cert Cardiac Device Spec, Cert EP Specialist, Medical Radiologic Tech, Reg Cardio Electrophysiology, Reg Cardiovascular Invasive Sp
