Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team at Moab Regional Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely test results that help healthcare providers determine patient care needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely test results
• Work as a strong generalist with microbiology reading experience
• Gather samples, perform analysis, and deliver test results
• Innovate and invent in a wide variety of situations
• Perform venous and arterial blood collection
• Maintain high levels of self-motivation and management
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to achieve efficient workflow

Requirements

• Current ASCP certification
• Ability to read microbiology results independently preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including graveyard shifts
• Emotionally mature and able to maintain same in stressful or STAT situations
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to lift/move up to 15 lbs. without assistance
