- Call – usually 8 call shifts a month. (1-2 nights a week and one weekend a month) Description: Unit OT after 8 hours/day. (RC = 24 reg hours, 12 OT hours)BILL OT after 40 hours/week. (RC = same rate in OT as in reg)Description: To provide direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations, in the perioperative setting as a valued team member and patient advocate. Perioperative duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling surgeries, preoperative teaching to patient and family, outpatient and postoperative assessments. Intra-operative duties to include assistance during IV sedation procedures, i.e.: endoscopies. Postoperative care includes assessments and anesthesia/surgical recovery and assistance. Needs: -Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm-On call 7 to 8 days per month, 4:30pm to 6am including weekends Requirements:-Current Alaska nursing license-ACLS, BLS certs-2 years minimum experience in Pre-Op/PACU Cancellation cancel any shift or part of a shift without penalty, according to the following limits: 3 shifts for any assignment of 13 weeks or less, 4 shifts for any assignment of 14-20 weeks, and 5 shifts for any assignment of 21 weeks or more. Charting a CPSI Company - CPSI System 19 BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift Notes: Call usually 8 call shifts a month.
