About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. This individual will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning properly.
- Assist the surgical team by anticipating surgeon needs, preparing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Clean and sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with central sterile processing team members to control inventory maintenance and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and files, and follow established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS certification required, CST certification preferred.
- Must live within 30 minutes of hospital for on-call shifts.
