Responsibilities and Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients. The ideal candidate will collaborate with physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

Typical Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adjust their schedule for on-call coverage involving evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. They must also be able to manage stressful situations effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certification and Licensure:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-approved school of Ultrasound Technology or other approved program as determined by the department;
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with two years supervised work/training in diagnostic ultrasound;
- Registered or registry candidate by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography;
- Registered by ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred;
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
Experience:
- Prior recent experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer or Echo Ultrasound Technologist in an acute healthcare facility is preferred;
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions;
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests and work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
