We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ferry County Health. In this role, you will be responsible for performing ultrasonic examinations using various imaging modalities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. A strong educational background in medical sonography and experience working with ultrasound equipment are also essential requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality ultrasonic examinations using multiple modalities
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure accurate image acquisition and interpretation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information and examination results
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology or related field
Eligibility for registry by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Certification in area of specialty
Current BLS certification
Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty as appropriate
