Below is the job description for the position.

Position Title- Sr.QA / Tester (With 508 / WCAG Accessibility and Drupal Exp)

Location- Washington, DC, 20515

Duration- 12 months of Contract

Mode of interview- Telephonic/Skype

Client – Direct Client

5 Day Onsite Job– No remote

Need Local candidates from Maryland, Distict of Columbia, Virginia

4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4.1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related

discipline, or equivalent related experience;

4.2. 5 years in Information Technology and software Quality Assurance focused on Section

4.3. Strong understanding of accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG 2.0) standards and

requirements integration into the product development life cycle;

4.4. Strong experience in understanding and using assistive technology tools like screen

reader software, screen magnification software, or voice recognition software to verify

applications are conformant;

4.5. Experience using common accessibility testing tools as well as screen readers such as

JAWS, NVDA, Talkback or Voiceover;

4.6. Experience with web and native mobile accessibility;

4.7. Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, and Android development and

accessibility features;

4.8. Demonstrable experience developing a compliance capability from no accessibility to

strong, sustained accessibility built into the process, culture, and products

4.9. Attention to detail with strong knowledge of planning and organizing test plans and test

cases;

5.10 Working knowledge of testing methodologies, automation tools and best practice;

5.11 Adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high-profile environment;

5.12 Ability to evolve skill sets and quickly adapt to new technologies and priorities;

5.13 Equally comfortable working on a project team as well as independently;

5.14 Excellent organization, planning, prioritizing skills and attention to detail.

5. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

6.1 Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related

discipline, or equivalent related experience.

6.2 10 years in Information Technology and Software Quality Assurance focused on

Section 508 Compliance and Accessibility

6.3 Strong understanding of accessibility (Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2) standards and

requirements integration into the product development life cycle.

6.4 Strong experience in understanding and using assistive technology tools like screen

reader software, screen magnification software, or voice recognition software to verify

applications are conformant.

6.5 Experience using common accessibility testing tools as well as screen readers such as

JAWS, NVDA, Talkback and Voiceover.

6.6 Experience with web and native mobile accessibility.

6.7 Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, and Android development and

accessibility features.

6.8 Working knowledge of ClickUp and Site improve functionalities.

6.9 Demonstrable experience developing a compliance capability from no accessibility to

strong sustained accessibility built into the process, culture, and products.
