Program assistance needed for DPH's Office of Emergency Medical Services(OEMS), with EMT certification. Position provides telephone and email support to EMTs, reviews applications and assists with clerical tasks to support certification and education.
Job Description:
- Reviews submitted electronic and paper applications in accordance with established procedures, processing through electronic computer systems.
- Provides telephone and email customer service with certified personnel in efforts to maintain or reinstate EMT certification, answering questions based on established procedures, or collects information for others to follow up.
- Provides assistance to individuals with respect to verification of past or current certification.
- Processes and maintains records related to certification and recertification.
