Job Title: Hospital Claims Specialist (Remote role)

Location: Farmington, CT 06032

Type: 06 Months contract with possible extension

Shift: 1st shift (Monday to Friday)


Job description:

  • 3 years of Hospital (HB) claims follow up & denials resolution experience Commercial, Managed Medicare & Government.
  • Knowledge of hospital claims adjudication & denials codes.
  • Working knowledge of Revenue codes, CPT/HCPCS codes.
  • Strong understanding of medical claims terminology.
  • Knowledge of payor under and over payments.
  • Knowledge of EPIC.
  • Strong analytical & research skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 office suite software especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to schedule and prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex instructions.
