Job Title – Laboratory Technician
Location – Fridley, MN 55421
Duration – 6 months contract position
Shift Time – Mon – Fri (8am-4:30pm)
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lab technician in a chemistry lab.
- Preparation and evaluation of paint formulations per established methods.
- Under the direction of a Scientist, independently execute established tasks to meet deadlines.
- Document findings and communicate results using programs such as Word and Excel.
- Inspects and performs routine maintenance on lab equipment.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals and/or supplies necessary for the completion of experiments
Qualifications:
- Education: AA, BA, or BS degree in a Science or Engineering field is preferred.
- PC skill: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to manage multiple duties simultaneously, meeting established deadlines.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per shift.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
