Job Description: (Hybrid)
Position: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 12 Months
Deliverables:
Create formal Conceptual and Solution Architectures and present to senior staff, businesses, and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- Requires eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of experience in multiple IT areas and five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant technology architecture experience
- Hands-on Network Access Control (NAC) experience to coincide with required years of experience
- Hands-on Cisco ISE experience to coincide with required years of experience
- Hands-on Cisco DNA experience to coincide with required years of experience
Preferred:
- Well-grounded in state-of-the-art principles of architectural modeling, service-oriented architecture, enterprise information management, and software design and development
- Solution Architect for two or more large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs.
- Demonstrated success at developing solutions that solve business problems
- Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of an SOA and Services in an enterprise setting
- Transportation Industry experience
- Broad IT experience in networking technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of EA frameworks
