Duration: 1 year Ongoing contract
Shift: 2nd Shift; 2 pm-10:30 pm (40H/week),EOW
Certifications & Licensure:
RN State license physical copy
BSL card

Requirement:
3 years as a Registered Nurse or 4 years of professional nursing experience in mental, physical health, or developmental disability care.
- Active PA RN license or temporary practice permit.
- Knowledge of health care services supporting daily living activities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret written materials.
Job Description:
- Collaborates regularly with Chief Nurse Executive, Nurse Manager, and supervisors to ensure consistent care and supervision.
- Acts as a resource for nursing staff, administration, interdisciplinary teams, and support services.
- Provides direct clinical supervision and leadership by planning, directing, and evaluating consumer care across multiple areas.
- Advocates for consumers to ensure active treatment and a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and consumers.
- Oversees staff orientation, ongoing education, and on-the-job training for professional and non-professional personnel.
- Ensures compliance with hospital and nursing policies, participates in quality improvement and facility committees, and supports professional development programs.
- Communicates effectively with consumers and employees, maintains records, prepares reports, and completes staff evaluations and competency assessments.
- May administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and assist with lifting and positioning consumers as needed.
