Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU to provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-acuity NICU settings and be proficient in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and other critical respiratory interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU.
• Perform ventilator management, airway clearance techniques, and blood gas analysis.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Educate families on respiratory care procedures and home-care instructions when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and industry standards.
• Float within the facility if needed.

Qualifications:

• License/Certification: Active RRT license and relevant state credentials.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU-specific respiratory therapy experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in neonatal ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, and emergency airway management.

Requirements:

• Schedule Compliance:
• Must work major holidays based on assignment period:
• 1 major holiday if one falls during the assignment.
• 2 major holidays if two fall during the assignment.
• If three major holidays fall in the assignment, the candidate must work two.
• Compliance: Full compliance is required before the start date. If not met, the start date will be pushed back by two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
• Pre-Screening Process: Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit. If approved, the application will be sent to the hiring manager for a final decision.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,850.00 - $1,960.00 per week

• Night shift
