As a Travel Nurse Stepdown, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings.

Location - Kankakee, IL 60901
Duration: 13 Weeks contract position with possible extensions
Shift Time- 5:00 pm - 5:30 am ( 3 x 12 Hours Night shift with every other weekend)
Charting SystemEpic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
MUST for all submissions:
- Must have EPIC experience
- Preferred travel experience
- Must have IL license in hand
Department: IMCU | RN
Required Certifications: BLS ACLS
Common diagnoses: Cardiac, open heart day 3, cranis, cardiac cath- radial and femoral, watchman, zephyr valve for COPD, pacemakers, trachs, continuous CPAP, Bipap, chest tubes, CBI. No vents.
Experience: Positive attitude. On year of experience. First time traveler okay. ICU experience a plus.
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
Common titratable: Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro- for blood pressure only, insulin, heparin.
Dopamine/dobutamine- renal dosing.
Radius Rule: Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $51/hour
