Lead Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Liberty County, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Heavy Equipment Operator with expertise in operating heavy machinery such as motor graders, bulldozers, and excavators. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of grading experience and a proven ability to lead field operations efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, including motor graders, bulldozers, and excavators, with precision and safety.
- Supervise and manage grading operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to maintain operational safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues in the field.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in grading and operating heavy machinery.
- Proven ability to lead field operations effectively.
- Strong understanding of grading techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in heavy equipment operation.
- Prior experience in construction or related industries.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 – 50.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
