Electronics Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and be proficient in using various tools and equipment to diagnose and repair electronic systems.

Duties

• Strong commitment to safety and an interdependent safety mindset.
• Degree in Automotive, Electronics, or Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• Hands-on experience operating dynamometers, spectrum analyzers, RF receivers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Background in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and analysis.
• Experience coordinating vehicle evaluations, troubleshooting design issues, and aligning resource schedules.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical system drawings, specifications, manuals, wiring diagrams, and industry standards.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to document and communicate technical data accurately, including strong technical writing and reporting abilities.
• Experience tracking equipment usage, analyzing maintenance trends, identifying future needs, and developing proposals.
• A continuous learning mindset with a strong curiosity about vehicle systems, test equipment, and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in using OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) and CAN (Controller Area Network) tools for troubleshooting system issues.
• Skilled in using hand and shop tools for test fixture fabrication, vehicle assembly, and disassembly.
• Experience updating vehicle and system software and verifying functionality.
• A valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, work extended hours, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Ability to thrive in a diverse and multicultural work environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
