- Perform Oracle & PostgreSQL DB installations, upgrades, and patch management following best practices.
- Monitor and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of Oracle & PostgreSQL databases.
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate routine Oracle & PostgreSQL administration tasks and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and features in Oracle & PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform database services.
- Implement and enforce database security measures and access controls.
- Skill - Strong SQL, Python (AlloyDB for Python library),AlloyDB JDBC driver,
- Tools - Cloud dataflow, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop (Optional)
