Duties
- Lead and manage a team of associates during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Oversee daily operations, including workflow management, quality control, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data using tools such as Spark and Informatica to drive decision-making processes.
- Facilitate training and development for team members to enhance skills in database design, analytics, and big data technologies.
- Implement best practices for ETL processes using tools like Talend to optimize data integration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues, providing solutions in a timely manner.
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical or operational environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and analytics tasks.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and their application in data integration is advantageous.
- Experience with ETL tools like Talend or Informatica is highly desirable.
