Job Description
We are seeking a Workday Cutover Lead with a proven track record in implementing cloud SaaS ERP projects for large and complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead a cross-functional project team, managing project/program dependencies, stakeholder engagement, and risk impacts. Strong communication skills, organizational awareness, and the ability to manage critical dependencies are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage NextGen Workday cutover planning and execution.
- Collaborate with Program Teams, Technical Teams, and Implementer Resources to build a detailed cutover schedule, covering technical, functional, and change management activities.
- Address escalations related to cutover activities and ensure open items are resolved.
- Manage cutover tasks, risks, issues, and project timelines to ensure successful implementation.
- Work closely with system owners, business and technical SMEs, and workstreams to complete cutover and system remediation processes.
- Provide comprehensive reporting on cutover activities, challenges, and risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure an on-time go-live.
- Deliver metric reporting to demonstrate progress against planned activities.
- Escalate potential risks impacting the go-live date.
- Lead and participate in cutover planning, plan reviews, mock cutovers, and final execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Workday implementation program manager (managing multiple Workday components).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of project management experience with at least 5 years of Workday SaaS ERP experience.
- Strong technical project management, operations management, change management, and release management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with experience driving change processes.
- Ability to collaborate and execute at all levels within a business area.
- Expertise in documentation, presentation, and project management tools.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with state or public sector clients is a plus.
- Strong group facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and ability to guide onboarding and management of new organizations.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
