We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration and implementations for business solutions. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
Capture requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and operating system environments, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud topologies.
Collaborate with IT staff to assess business needs and translate them into automated solutions.
Produce solution design artifacts, including technical estimates, system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models.
Coordinate new system development to ensure consistency and integration with existing systems and COTS solutions.
Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
Consult with clients to prototype, architect, and design applications to meet needs.
Collaborate with business areas and cross-functional Enterprise Architects to understand business needs and provide strategic consultation.
Partner with architects and technical team members to develop roadmaps and strategies to support agency KPIs.
Design and implement Enterprise Security / technology Patterns.
Provide tactical direction and architecture considerations on legacy solutions.
Qualifications
Experience with SAFe architecture and Agile / Scrum teams.
Proven experience in developing enterprise and solution-level architectural designs.
Experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling / mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.
Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques.
Good project management skills and exposure to project-based work structures and lifecycle models.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Competency with XML constructs and schemas.
Confidence and experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST.
Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Skills
Experience in enterprise-level application design and integration - Required : 5 Years
Experience in cloud applications (Azure Preferred) - Required : 5 Years
Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture - Required : 5 Years
Experience with integration architecture - Required : 5 Years
Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe and Scrum) - Required : 5 Years
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform - Required : 2 Years
Experience with Esri ArcGIS - Nice to have : 2 Years
