Job Summary:

• Escorts hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair, stretcher, or hydraulic stretcher to their destinations.

Job Duties (including but not limited to)

• Complete Daily Disinfection & Tracking Log for each patient that is escorted from one of the Patient Entry Points to their 1st appointment/destination capturing:
• Date
• Start Time
• Equipment Asset Tag #
• Type of Equipment
• Disinfectant Used
• Patient MRN#
• Destination
• Completion Time
• Sanitize the wheelchair prior to each patient using the Wheelchair “High-Touch” Disinfection/Inspection Protocol
• Following the Equipment Checklist for Assisting Patients on and off the wheelchair
• Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner to the initial appointment from the Entry Point.
• Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and their caregivers that equates to excellent customer service at all times
• Ability to follow direction, navigate throughout the campus independently, good communication skills and great demeanor
• Push 200 pounds via a wheelchair
• Minimum education: HS diploma

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• experience. Ability to push at least 200 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to push at least 200 lbs

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.02 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Houston, TX (Required)
